Users of Republican Scientific Medical Library have the opportunity to access databases created and purchased by the library. Subscription and open-source electronic resources that can be used on the library’s local network, as well as from a home or work computer, can become reliable help in the search for scientific information.

1. Electronic сatalogue of the Republican Scientific Medical Library

The database on medicine, healthcare and related fields of knowledge. It contains information about books, dissertation abstracts, theses, periodicals, articles from journals and anthologies from the library collection. The digitized part of the collection (scientific articles, book excerpts) is accessible from the library’s computers, as well as through the ” Electronic medical library” service.

2. Rare medical publications

The database contains bibliographic information about rare and unique editions on medicine and healthcare of the first half of the 19th century – the first half of the 20th century from the collection of the RSML. The digitized part of the collection can be accessed from the library’s computers.

3. WHO Regional Office for Europe documents

The database contains information on WHO European Regional Office health guidelines, reviews, reports, recommendations, reports, action plans; it includes hyperlinks to the full text of the documents, which can be found on the official WHO web site.

7. Database of authoritative files “Personalities in the history of Belarusian medicine”.

The database contains biobibliographical information about outstanding scientists and specialists of Belarus in the field of health care and medicine. It is an identification tool that offers variants of reading, contains reference information: surname, first name, patronymic of author; brief biographical data; field of scientific interests; information about work, scientific and public activity; information about scientific works.

8. Health сare of the Belarusian SSR in forty years (1919-1958)

The database contains information on documents on health organization and history of medicine of BSSR, which appeared as separate editions, journal and newspaper articles, reviews, and articles from various collections; it is the electronic analogue of the bibliography “Health care of BSSR during forty years (1919-1958)”. (Minsk, 1961).

10. MedArt

The summary catalogue of periodicals and analyses on medicine is a medical scientific and educational resource oriented to medical scientists, students of medical universities and doctors of practical health care. The corporate database reflects the analytical inventory of medical journals available in the collections of partner libraries from Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan.

1. “ConsultantPlus”, Reference legal system ilex.by

The legal database includes “ConsultantPlus: Belarus” and “ConsultantPlus: Russia” reference legal systems. It contains full texts of codes, decrees, ordinances, laws, resolutions, legal and regulatory acts of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation, reference information and financial consultations. It is maintained by the Regional Information Centre of All-Russia Legal Information Dissemination Network “ConsultantPlus” “JurSpectr” LLC. ilex.by is an online service of ready-made legal solutions in accounting, taxation and law from the company “JurSpektr” LLC.

2. “Etalon”, Information legal system of the National Centre of Legal Information of the Republic of Belarus

It includes three databanks: the Legislation of the Republic of Belarus, Decisions of local government and self-government bodies, International treaties. It contains the full texts of decrees, laws, resolutions, international treaties, legal and regulatory acts, codes of the Republic of Belarus, as well as reference information. All texts of legal acts are presented up-to-date with the ability to view the history of all changes and (or) additions.

3. Electronic Library of the Russian State Library

The electronic library contains about 1.5 million full texts of dissertations, abstracts and other types of publications on various branches of science, including medical, pharmaceutical, chemical, biological, physical and mathematical, technical, philological, philosophical, economic and legal, as well as works on architecture, art history, etc. Of these, more than 690,000 documents are publicly available for reading and copying. The database additionally includes collections of old printed books, scientific and educational literature, handwritten materials, and image editions.

4. Electronic Library loan of the Central Scientific Medical Library of the I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University

The first project in Russia that implements the right of libraries to freely provide documents stored in their funds for temporary use via the Internet in full compliance with Russian copyright protection legislation.
The services of the Electronic Library loan of the Central Scientific Medical Library are available only to authorized users who have previously subscribed.
For unauthorized users, it is only possible to search and view the bibliographic description of the found documents.
