This year a peer-reviewed journal of research and practice “Obstetrics and Gynecology” is celebrating 102 years since its foundation.
It started to circulate at the initiative of a renowned obstetrician-gynecologist and professor A. P. Gubarev under the name “Gynecology and Obstetrics” in 1922. Today the owners of the publication are National Medical Research Center for Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology Named after Academician V.I. Kulakov and Russian Association for Obstetricians-Gynecologists.
Every month modern scientific achievements in obstetrics and gynecologists, physiology, fetus and neonate pathologies, issues in detection and treatment of pregnancy, labour and gynecological disorders complications, questions concerning the organisation of obstetric-gynecological assistance are covered in the journal. Data on experience exchange, introduction of scientific achievements into practice as well as reviews on released specialized literature are published here.
The journal is cited and indexed in international data bases.
